Heritage Open Day 2024 Attracts Over 650 Visitors

To mark the centenary of Otley Baths opening in 1924, FoOL welcomed visitors to the site as part of the Heritage Open Days scheme. The event attracted over 650 visitors including Katie White MP and Cllrs Colin Campbell, Ryk Downes and Richard Hughes.

The day included guided tours of the site and surrounding area, photo exhibtion, updates on the project and refreshments.


Amongst the attendees were:

  • Katie White OBE MP - Member of Parliament for Leeds North West constituency

  • Cllrs Colin Campbell and Ryk Downes - Leeds Ctiy Council ward councillors for Otley and Yeadon

  • Cllr Richard Hughes - Chair of Otley Town Council


Our wonderful community - plus key stakeholders - also attended in large numbers to both reminisce and show support for the project with over 650 passing through the gates.
